Our Story

Sonoran Reserve began with one simple question: what's really in the water we give our families?

We spent years looking for a good answer. We tried the choices most families have — and every one of them let us down.

Think about the trip a water bottle takes before it reaches you. It rides in trucks. It waits on pallets. It bakes in the sun and the heat — sometimes for days — wrapped in plastic the whole way.

Here's what most people don't know: heat and sunlight can cause chemicals from the plastic bottles, caps, and even metal caps to leach into the water. We live in Arizona, where it gets very hot, so this is a huge problem.

Now here's the part that should stop you cold. Every lab test and safety check happens back at the plant, before the water ships. No one tests the bottle that lands on your doorstep — not after the truck, not after the heat, not after the sun. So when you open the cap, the truth is simple: no one really knows what's in it.

Reverse osmosis doesn't just clean water. It strips it down to nothing. All the natural minerals come out — and lab-made ones get added back in. They're not the real thing.

Over time, the filter wears down and can let bad stuff slip through. And most systems run through plastic tubes and tanks, where water sits and waits.

We tried a countertop filter too. Two things went wrong.

First, the filter wears out faster than you think. Once it's worn, it stops doing its job — and you don't always know when that happens.

Second, it's just too slow. A countertop filter drips out a little water at a time. For a busy, growing family that drinks water all day long, it couldn't come close to keeping up. We were always waiting on it.

Think about the last delivery that came to your house. A stranger walked up your driveway. Maybe the garage door was open. Maybe your kids were playing in the front yard. Did anyone ever check who that person was? For most companies, the honest answer is no.

Delivery companies hire fast, and the faces change all the time. A different driver every week, and no one can tell you their name. For a service that comes back to your home again and again, that never sat right with us.

So we built a better way.

We start with small-batch, local spring water, bottled cool, so we know what we're getting.

Then we keep it cool. Our water is temperature-controlled the whole way — from the moment it's bottled, to our climate-controlled vans, to the moment it reaches your door. It never bakes in a hot truck. It never sits in the sun.

And we were just as careful about who brings it. Every Sonoran Reserve driver is licensed and fingerprinted through the City of Scottsdale — a real police background check, done before they ever work a route. We wanted a driver you could trust to walk up while the garage door is open and the kids are out front. The kind of person you'd give your gate code to without a second thought.

Fresh. Local. Cool the whole way. Carried by someone you trust. The water your family deserves.

The Water & The Vessel
The Water

Small-batch Arizona spring water, sustainably sourced.

Naturally alkaline, with a pH of 7.8.

Rich in the minerals that matter — calcium, magnesium, and potassium for electrolytes, bicarbonate for natural alkalinity, and silica for a soft, clean taste.

The Vessel

Liftable for everyone in the household.

Everyone else delivers the same 5-gallon plastic jug — around 50 awkward pounds. Ours is different: a 3-gallon vessel blown from Italian glass, far lighter and easy to maneuver. Easier to lift, easier to pour, and handsome enough to live on the counter.

A vessel no one else offers

Our Drivers

Who comes to your door.

Your water is placed in your hands, or at your door, by a person. We think you should know exactly who that person is.

Every Sonoran Reserve driver is a licensed, permitted solicitor with the City of Scottsdale — the same clearance the city requires of anyone who may knock on a residential door. We don't treat it as optional for delivery-only staff. Everyone who represents us clears it, before their first stop.

That process is not a formality:

Every individual is fingerprinted and submitted for a criminal background check — not a database lookup, an actual fingerprint record.

Full legal name, date of birth, Social Security number, driver's license, and physical description on file with the city.

Prior employment, prior business activity, and any licensing held in other cities or states — all disclosed and examined.

Applications must be submitted a full month before anyone may work, so there is time for genuine review, not a rubber stamp.

Our drivers carry their city permit on their person. Ask to see it any time. They'll be glad you did.

The same care we put into the water, we put into who brings it.
